Grandma and Grandpa Holt Visit. One of our first stops was the Cranbrook Science Museum. Brendan loved all of the dinosaur fossils and the random buttons. Lauren was able to see numerous duck models.

Grandma Holt helps Brendan with his Star Wars crossword. Not surprisingly, Brendan demonstrates his vast knowledge of all things Star Wars.

The kids were thrilled to get to show off on their bikes.

In addition to pressing the horn a number of times, Lauren desperately tried to start the boat with the key.  

Brendan thought it was very illicit to eat on the boat. He showed me his PBJ as evidence of the crime.

Lauren and Brendan were excited to find this geocache. The ferns were taller than the kids as we hiked up a hill to get to the treasure.

Lauren's Second Birthday. Lauren insisted on having a duck birthday party. The duck cake delighted the birthday girl.

All the boys, and one girl, celebrated Lauren's second birthday. The boys commented that they had never seen a duck party before Lauren's bash.
